Greenwood Giants were busy on the last few days of the school year. On June 5th, students participated in the school’s Sneak Peek, where they get to visit classrooms of the grade they will advance to next year. Teachers greeted the students, told them some of the things they will be learning and procedures for the next grade. The intention of the event is to help students get excited about their next grade level and feel more comfortable starting back to school in August.
“Our students really enjoyed Sneak Peek. It’s a great way for them to see a little bit of what next year will look like and help them get excited for more learning,” said Dr. Madeline Koenig, Greenwood Principal.
Also on June 5th, students and their families enjoyed the annual Greenwood BBQ. Hamburgers with all the fixings, chips and apples were served. Lots of families joined the students in the playground field, enjoying the sunshine.
