Paper bag that says "lunch", apple and chocolate milk

On September, 24, 2020, Oregon was approved for a Pandemic EBT benefit issuance.  La Grande School District students may be eligible to receive a $100 Pandemic EBT benefit if the student was reported to the Oregon Department of Education between July 1st and September 22nd as enrolled in a school sponsoring the National School Lunch Program in School Year 2021.  LGSD schools are sponsoring this program.  Students must be eligible for no-cost meals in the School Year 2020 or 2021 and also be missing National School Lunch Program or Seamless Sumer Option meals for at least five consecutive days in School Year 2021 due to COVID.

The benefits will be issued beginning on September 28th and there is no application for families to submit to receive the benefit.

The student information was not collected directly from schools but was collected by SSID updates reported to the Oregon Department of Education after July 1, 2020, on-demand uploads in the Direct Certification System after July 1, 2020, and the eligibility reported for spring P-EBT from July 1, 2019 - current.
