Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated May 8-12. Thank you to all the teachers in our district for your energy, hard work and dedication. We appreciate all you do to foster student success!


Parent presentation on May 10th (6:00-8:00pm) @ La Grande High School Auditorium. La Grande School district parents, guardians, teachers and grandparents are welcome to attend. Detective Richard Wistocki, nationally recognized High Technology Cyber Crimes Specialist, will be presenting proactive strategies, expert insight, and invaluable resources designed to empower you to combat Cyber-Bullying, Vaping and Sexting.


Pendleton Track Meet for 7th & 8th Graders on May 11th at Pendleton High School will begin at 4:00pm with field events, race events will begin at 4:30pm. Students will leave school at 1:45pm.

We will have a home track meet for our 6th graders on Friday, May 12th at the LHS track. Field events will start at 1:00pm and track events will start at 2:00pm.
Also, we will have practice in the gym today due to predicted rain/hail/lightning

Pendleton has notified us that they are not accepting 6th graders into their track meet on Thursday, May 11th. We are currently looking at other options to add a different meet next week for our sixth graders. We will update you with additional information soon.

The track meet on May 5th in Baker has placed limits on how many participants will be allowed to compete. The top 8 for each event will be selected by coaches. Athletes will know by the end of the day on Wednesday if they will be traveling to Baker.

LMS Greenhouse Sale will run May 11th-13th. Hours of operation are Thursday and Friday 8-5 and Saturday 8-12. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you there!

Today, May 1st, Central Elementary will be hosting our annual Kindergarten Roundup from 5:30pm - 7:30pm in the Central Gym. All elementary schools will be present to support families as well as a variety of community partners and agencies. We hope to see everyone there. Type 1 Diabetes Children and Family Support Group!
When: Monday, April 24th from 5:30pm-6:30pm, May 8th, and 22nd. Bi weekly support group. Further dates will be released in the future.
