Island City Elementary celebrated Veterans at their annual Veterans Day Assembly earlier this month. View the video to see their work: https://youtu.be/ocGtnYnu0J8

The Blue Mountain Nordic Club is celebrating the 4th year of our Nordic ski program for kids 4-17 years old. We will meet once a week, on Thursdays (5:00-6:00 pm) at Meacham Divide Nordic Ski Area during January and February. Skiers will be placed into one of 3 groups, by age and ability to learn classic skiing technique. We are again able to lend skis to those who need them for the winter season.

Cost is $25 for 8 lessons. Proceeds go to BMNC to offset costs for kids’ skis, volunteer instructors, and to organize a fun race and BBQ at the end of the season.
