La Grande School District congratulates Eastern Oregon University on receiving three grants totaling $250,220 for its Reading Clinic!
"These funds will help sustain and expand the clinic’s critical literacy programs, providing both teacher training and free tutoring services for children in rural Oregon."
Students at LGSD schools benefit from free tutoring through the Reading Clinic. The district is grateful for this partnership with EOU.

LHS girls softball beat Fruitland on Saturday 16-3 and 19-5. Well done lady Tigers!!
LHS boys traveled to Philomath today for a doubleheader. The first game against Philomath they lost 2 to 3. The second game against Tillamook, the Tigers won 6 to 5. Next game will be Wednesday at home against Baker at 2 pm.

There is NO SCHOOL in the La Grande School District during SPRING BREAK from March 24-28. Have a safe and restful break! School resumes on Monday, March 31!

The Oregon Public University Tour was in La Grande on Tuesday, March 11th.The tour is to showcase the many options for a secondary education in Oregon. Many LHS students participated in the event. A group of students from Elgin also joined.
