Community Bulletin Board Flyer Review and Approval Process

1. Community flyers are reviewed weekly on Wednesdays. To be considered for posting that week, materials must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday. Applicants will receive an email notification indicating whether their submission has been approved or denied.
2. All flyers MUST include the required district disclaimer statement as outlined below.
3. All flyers and announcements must be submitted electronically in PDF format. To ensure accessibility for all users, scanned documents will not be accepted.

Submission Requirements

• In accordance with School Board Policy KJA, submitted content must directly support the educational interests or personal welfare of students.
• All announcements, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials from outside organizations are subject to district review and approval prior to posting.
• To better serve our diverse community, organizations are strongly encouraged to provide materials in both English and Spanish.
• All flyers must include the required district disclaimer statement.
• Lawn signs, banners, and other outdoor promotional materials from outside organizations are not permitted on district property and will be removed.
• The district does not approve or distribute materials promoting fundraising activities conducted by outside organizations, including but not limited to walk-a-thons, job-a-thons, ticket sales, raffles, or similar fundraising campaigns.
• The district no longer distributes or posts printed flyers for community organizations. Approved materials will be shared through the district's digital Community Bulletin Board only.

The district does not sponsor this event/activity/offer and the district assumes no responsibility for it. In consideration for the privilege to distribute these materials, the La Grande School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action filed in any court or administrative tribunal arising out of the distribution of these materials, including cost, attorney's fees and judgments or awards.
